Hi ! I’m a physicist and I’m gonna be fucking insufferable about it :3 this is also my personal blog and venting place; I’m doing my best to not show too much bad faith but you cannot expect me to be a journalist or correct academic in my room when I’m writing shit. I’m just a person.

I have an art/stream blog @aniledotpng and a locked nsfw Twitter that you’re gonna have to message me to maybe see

Here I’ll be angry I’ll be pining I’ll be joking sometimes… Overall this blog is more journaling and talking to friends than anything. I don’t take bad faith and I’ve stopped being nice to people who reblog my personal posts, learn to recognize boundaries without being guided like a baby 💜

If I notice you’re a kid I’m gonna block you. Nothing against you, but as I said this blog is for journaling and there’s pretty heavy stuff here that’s too heavy for teenagers, it’s already way too fucking heavy for me.

That being said here’s a masterpost of the resources I’ve made

See it’s funny because Wyll and Gale are like respectively my tastes in men real and fictional

Real : real fucking kind but something is wrong with you and it’s difficult to put the finger on what. Easy to connect with if you listen a bit to what’s understated. Crushing hero syndrome. Stupid, but emotionally clever.

Fictional : my guy this loudmouth of yours is hilarious and cool but it won’t save you from your depression, we can kiss about it though.

"the barbie movie critiques capitalism!" i need y'all to understand and internalize that you can enjoy things even if they're not ideologically pure

yes insisting that matel's glorified toy ad movie is anticapitalist is a wild assertion. but it's also fine to enjoy the dressing-up-in-pink movie without ritualistic self-admonishment and shame. like, you can enjoy a thing and also be aware that the thing is not going to liberate us from the shackles of capitalism. both things can be true.

Neil Gaiman ( @neil-gaiman ) in Neil Gaiman Answers Mythology Questions on Twitter | Tech Support | WIRED video

[ Image description: a series of screens from a video of Neil Gaiman sitting and answering the question with subtitles. He says “‘Could I ride Minotaur like a horse?’ No, obviously, you could not. You could ride a Minotaur like a man (…) Unless you could find a Minotaur into sort of pony stuff or you probably have to find a furry minotaur, like, not a furry Minotaur, a Minotaur who was actually a furry, would get into a horse costume and get down and you could ride that one.’ End of image description. ]
